Edible dusting powder can be used in two mains ways: by brushing dry on to sugarpaste or by mixing with rejuvenator spirit to create an edible paint or liquid colouring for painting on to icing, or for airbrushing.

They can be mixed with each other to create many different shades or with luster dusts to create sparkle effects.

Colour Dusts can also be used for colouring marzipan or melted white chocolate.
