Creme Egg Cake

Creme Egg Filling:
  • 170g Liquid glucose 
  • 58g butter, room temperature
  • 375g icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla Sunflower pro gels gel paste
Chocolate Mud Cake
  • 220ml sunflower oil
  •  200g Dark choc
  • 160ml milk
  • 125g plain flour
  • 125g self raising flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 400g caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100ml buttermilk
  1. Preheat oven to 160c
  2. In a saucepan melt the choc with oil and milk
  3. Combine dry ingredients
  4. When choc mixture is cooled add to dry ingredients with eggs.
  5. Mix till combined.
  6. Pour into lined 6" round 4" deep tin
  7. Bake for approx 1 hr 50 mins.
Milk Chocolate Ganache
  • 1kg Belcolade
  • 400ml Double cream
  1. Microwave in 30sec intervals till fully melted
  2. cover with cling film and leave overnight.
